Helping you stay healthy & fit, so you can embrace the Tahoe life you love
In the unpredictable environment of the High Sierra, we aim to be a steady guide for your health and decision-making.
Meet Dr. Harding: A primary care physician in Incline Village, Lake Tahoe
I grew up in the Boston area and moved to San Francisco a decade ago with the intention to stay for a “few years,” but my adventurous and outdoor spirit quickly anchored me on the West Coast.
After years in the Bay Area, my love for nature brought me to Lake Tahoe where I have happily settled among the Sierra Nevada mountains and the lake I now call home.
My background includes hospital medicine, global health, disaster relief, and many years in primary care, with a special focus on women’s health and menopause care.
For the past three years, I served as the Women’s Health Medical Director at the Reno VA Medical Center. I value evidence-based informed care and long-term relationships with my patients.
I opened Lighthouse Medical Clinic to care for this community in a more thoughtful way than traditional medicine would allow me to do.
My practice model enables me to offer excellent primary care for adults especially for those patients who want a collaborative, trusting relationship with their physician while also receiving convenient and transparent care.
I bring a warm, informed, and direct approach to patient care and take the time to understand the full clinical picture so that patients feel supported and reassured about their health.
When I’m not seeing patients, I enjoy running, hiking, and skiing throughout Tahoe. Time outdoors helps me stay grounded and remains one of the reasons I’m grateful to live and work in this area.
Training and Credentials
I am board certified in Internal Medicine. I am also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
I completed my Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center/Boston University School of Medicine.
I graduated from Yale University and earned my Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
My practice is values-driven
I opened Lighthouse Medical so I could practice medicine with the time, care, and integrity patients deserve.
Medical Autonomy
I recommend what’s right for you, not what the system expects from me. That also means referrals can be guided by quality and fit.
Ethics
I’m direct about pricing, expectations, and
next steps, so you can make informed decisions without surprises.
Patient-first
I take time to understand your complete health history and clinical picture. When your doctor knows you well, care becomes more thoughtful and effective.
